Winter Airgun Championship Start List and Schedule Revisions Posted COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 24, 2009) ![]() The Winter Airgun Championships are fast approaching! Due to the overwhelming popularity of this match and also because the event is an MQS qualifier for the Youth Olympic Games, it has become necessary to make slight adjustments to the previously published schedule. Please note that the MQS qualifier for the Youth Olympic Games is for non-U.S. competitors ONLY as the U.S. will not be participating in the shooting events at the Youth Olympic Games. Please take the time to check the updated schedule, as well as the start list to ensure your name is on the list. If you do not see your name on the start list, it is important to call the USA Shooting Competitions office at 719-866-4885 so that we can make the corrections as soon as possible. All MQS and Paralympic shooters will be randomly squadded on electronic targets. We will be using an additional shooting hall for this event, so please be aware of where you are shooting and watch for start list updates. At this match we will be implementing shoot-offs for ties (8th place) to get into the finals. These will take place prior to the start of the final, so please be sure to check the official results sheet for more information. The high visitor will be invited to shoot alongside the top eight U.S. competitors during the final for each event. Check-in and equipment control for the event will take place starting on December 3rd at 8:00 a.m. All shooters must go through equipment control, with the exception of the Paralympic shooters. We look forward to seeing everyone in Colorado Springs. Happy Thanksgiving and please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. [ Back ] |
